        Greetings from Chicago!

While I’m here, my participation is going to be a little sporadic, but I heard Brian’s great new lesson, and I’m going to check back for your suggestions.

Can you recommend a NON-APP tuner for my Android phone? Looking for one that hears my pitch and tells me which way to go, not one that supplies me the true pitch. I’ve used one of those but there’s still some disharmony. Thank you!

I don’t have that many apps but when I went to install one, I got a message saying I didn’t have the space necessary—so I deleted three unused apps, restarted my phone and still have same problem. Battery in the tuner I carried along died, hope to find one later, meantime the G and B strings are playing their usual tricks on my ears.

If I knew JetBlue was going to treat my box so well, I would have brought a better one. I got this Fender acoustic for playing outdoors in the rain, stuff like that.

        Thank you, many, many thanks!

Possibly not what you are after but I use this one on my phone..

As an aside, if you dont have enough space on the memory then quite possibly you need to clear the phones cashe to free up some memory..

Thanks, Billy, that’s an app. I had a tuning app on here before but I deleted it when I was getting messages that I didn’t have enough space for [X].

I cleared the cache and bought an SD card, moved everything I could move (with my nephew’s help) but continue to get those messages, even when updating my few remaining apps. Going to Vista the store I got it at for assistance pretty soon.

What I’m looking for is a website with a built-in tuner that registers the sound I play on my gittar through my phone’s mic. It could be that nothing like that exists.

            Thanks again.

Thank you, Billy, y☆u really went above and beyond. I’m out right now, going to use it when I get home.

This post makes me think of something; task accomplished, I’d like to be able to delete it, make room for other posts of ongoing interest. I’ll mention this to Bryce later on.

                Thanks again, Billy!
