A couple of months ago our boy Bobby Ute down in Colorado suggested I try this song. It’s 31 degree Celsius in Canmore today so we headed down to the river for a couple of beer and some tunes. I love singing as much as I love playing. I messed up the lyrics a little bit, probably a combination of just learning the song and beer😃

Great rendition Scott. Love the song and you’ve definitely done it justice. Now you’ve broken out with Little Red Rooster and Wildflowers we need more of the same, top vocals and great rhythm guitar. Really like your voice and fantastic to hear you sing on the site! All the best! 🥸🎸🥸

That Bobby Ute knows his music. Great performance, Scott. I can only imagine how hard you were strumming that guitar knowing the booming nature of your great voice from our brief visit. My boy was just in Yellow Knife for a wedding of one of his university housemates. Afterward, they set up home base in Canmore to see Banff and other tourist attractions. He really loved Canmore. You certainly live in a beautiful place. With my renewed interest in acoustic, I have to give this a try.

Very nice and fresh place near the river, a good beer and a nice song wonderfully played and sung: there’s nothing better! Top vocals for this song, considering also here, of course, there is no effects or auto-tune, but only the reverb of nature!

Sounds like a red letter day, Scott. Picking and singing in the great outdoors. I like how you used the pronoun ‘WE’, belong among the wildflowers’ on the last verse. A blessing to all. 🙂

It’s so great to play a song on the acoustic in such a beautiful place! Love your strong voice and performance👏👍🎸🔥. Scott you are such a lucky guy. And that place you live in 🇨🇦 is even more beautiful than Switzerland!!!!😯
We have 36C here🥵, the temperature of our nearby river is at 24C.

Such a down to earth voice in a picturesque setting. Bobby chose you a good song that suits your voice and you do have a great singing voice. There are shades of John Cougar Mellencamp in those vocals.

Not familiar with this song Scott so I looked it up and it sounds like you nailed it.
Nice playing also. I don’t think the beer got the better of you there.
Well done.
Liam.
