Where in the world is Billy?

Has Billy from Scotland resigned from AM? I miss his insightful comments and observations on the meaning of life, the universe, and everything. The forum has become all grey and lifeless, like Pepperland after the Blue Meanies took over.

I sent him a private message yesterday but haven’t heard back from.him

He was caring for his elderly mother a few years back, don’t know if that is still ongoing. The mother may have passed and I didn’t see the post about it

I hope he didn’t have a motorcycle accident. I believe the last time we chatted, his mother may have passed away. I know his brother passed away.

I hope he’s ok as well. Sometimes you just move on. Learning can take you in different directions. I’m finding myself on another website more than this one simply because the content is up my ally. You disappear from one lesson site and appear on another. Seems like Billy would have said goodbye though. Odd that he did not respond to a pm. That’s not a good sign.

Just to let you know I sent a direct email (not via ActiveMelody) to Billy to enquire whether he was OK and that we were concerned for him etc. It’s now been over a week ago and I’ve had no response at all.
Under these circumstances there’s probably not much else we can do but I do hope he’s OK.

Looking at the positives, Nicola Sturgeon has just resigned, so I’m hoping he’s busy polishing up his CV.

On the off chance I tried emailing Glasgowcabs with a picture of Billy and an enquiry about him no luck there are quite a few private taxi hires in Glasgow. I recall he mentioned a North East drop off when he bought something from the person maybe a pedal.

Billy belongs to a motorcycle club that does charity work. I don’t have the time to follow up on this and I probably don’t know how to do it, but there are few motorcycle clubs Glasgow that surely would know the where about of Mr. Billy.
I know his brother past away and most likely left his guitar collection to Billy, also his mother I believe recently passed away.
So, if any of you here are in England, you’d probably have a good chance of finding out what happen to him but contacting the motorcycle clubs in the area. I know he told me the charity events are something all the cyclist look forward to every year.

Just recently looking to have a presence here on “Discuss Anything BP” and I’m not familiar with Billy. Still, I do hope he’s just ‘busy’ with other things.

Recently beginning my 75th year on the Big Blue Marble, and though I am quite well and healthy (so far so good) I’ve recently been thinking that “SHOULD” I get struck by a meteor – or something – and unable to communicate, I need to let my daughter know that she should post my demise, or whatever, so that my AM family can sing me a dirge or something.
Uncertainty about our people can be stressful.

Wait, here’s a question: not being a member, how would she close my account so membership dues are stopped???
