If money were no problem and you and you were playing live on a regular basis, what amp(s) & guitar(s) would you have? Effects?

Oh that is so hard to answer. I would have everything my heart desired. I remember hearing Tom Petty admit that he spends a lot of his time looking & buying guitars “Kinda Sad Really”, he said ha ha ha I have 3 of his DVD concerts & it’s a guitar smorgasboard. He & Mike Campbell change guitars for every song. It’s a Guitar Show as well as a concert.
But if I was playing & gigging, I’d probably buy some Squier’s & Epiphones that could be replaced easily. Having had 5 guitars stolen, I couldn’t go though that trauma again. I’m still grieving 10 years later.
I have a collection of books on guitars & I often just drool over the pages. I have a bad case of G.A.S. Gear/Guitar Acquisition Syndrome. I would dearly love a Rickenbacker 12 string (Do you hear me Santa??????) -

Yes, it is hard to nail it down to a few but…
I would start off with a G&L S-500. Its a prime example of Leo Fender taking his Strat design to a higher plane, giving you all of the Strat tones and a few extra. I would probably set a G&L Comanche next to it – yet another Strat design that Leo took to a different direction with a sound somewhere between a single coil and a humbucker equipped guitar. (should be obvious that G&L impresses me). A semi-hollow like a 335 – Gibson, Yamaha made some great ones, Ibanez, Washburn has just came out with a beut – the HB36. Ebony fingerboard and all.
Amp? Fender Deluxe Reverb, Vibrolux, Vibroverb. Twin Reverb???? Hmmm, since money is no object here, lets go with one of each and throw a Peavey Classic 50 410 and a 115 extension cab to boot.
Effects would be modest. Overdrive, delay, compressor, and a uni-vibe.
Jazz & blues covered with this rig and even a little Robin Trower as well
