        Hi everyone,

I’ve been using Torpedo Wall of Sound since I bought my Captor Load Box a few years ago and I’ve only just realised that the Genome upgrade is part of my licence – It’s been out for about a year!

I’ve went with EP 176 for this and I’m using a Marshall Greenback Pairs amp sim on the left channel and a Fender Princeton Reverb one on the right channel.

Also using their studio compressor, reverb and delay effects in the chain.

Be interesting to know what you think of it.

        Thanks for listening.

        Liam.

Sounds like this fits right in to your style Liam. Pushes your amp to the edge of breakup or beyond, good effects, and the attenuator is a great feature also. The SG is obviously happy. 🎸

That was awesome Liam. I’m not familiar with the hardware but it sure sounded excellent to me.

Sounds incredible Liam! Amazing for sure! You’ve really got a good handle on the tech side of recording as well as the guitar skills to match. Excellent and top lesson choice too. All the best! 😎🎸😎

Sounds like you turned the amp up to 11, Liam. Curious to know how loud the volume was in the room.

That is some pretty intense distortion Liam 😮. I did it once on a Santana lesson from Brian but it is not something I typically use and I know there is a whole skill behind it. So darned hard to control.

My guess is there are few guitars more suitable for this than those with humbucker pickup like the one you are using. 😁

I’m not an expert of all different amp simulator softwares and hardwares, but your SG coupled with those virtual amps (If I understood correctly) for sure sounds very good, Liam!

Very nice sound wish I could hear it with bass and drums.

That’s an impressive wall of sound there Liam. You get way, way better tones out of those software amps than I ever managed. I didn’t hear as much difference as I expected between the two channels but the combine tone is full, rich and very tasty.
Great choice of lesson took, played in style, and despite the subtitle, you ripped through those claptonesque fill licks. 👌
