Hi All,
Chris Stapleton is going to be in Pittsburgh this weekend, and sadly I will not be able to be there (Man…I really want to be there, but can’t). Since I’m gonna have to miss him, I decided to throw on a Tennessee Whiskey backing track I found on youtube and try a little improv over it. Lots of fun with A major pentatonic and pretty easy to play over. Thought I would share some of it with you all… -

Hey Dave, that is so good.
The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Thanks Dave that was a perfect beginning to my day. 🙂
Chris Stapleton sounds very familiar but I’m not sure I know any of his songs. Sorry you’ll have to miss him this time around, hopefully next time.
I just got see Tommy Emanuel (probably butchered his name) Man you talk about energy, just him and his guitar but he’s on his feet the entire time and never stopped moving, just incredible. And we learned that he’d been living in the states for quite a while and just days before the concert he had become a citizen of the USA and was pretty stoked about it.
