Anyone else having problems with Soundslice lately?
For the past few days or so, when I start the player (in fullscreen mode, as I don’t see how that tiny Soundslice window is useful otherwise) it might play a bar or two, but then it will freeze and say it cannot load video.
I have to exit out of it to get back control of the computer. Then I can turn off the video and use it as audio only. But even then, the player gets quite laggy, and the cursor doesn’t follow the playback well, and the sound often breaks up. This gets worse when I slow down the playback.
This happens both in Firefox and Opera (I don’t want Chrome in my machine, Google owns enough of me as it is).
I never had these problems in the past, so I hope it’s just a temporary glitch – maybe Soundslice’s servers are overloaded?

Hey Marty, I haven’t heard of anyone else experiencing this and can’t replicate it on this end. If anyone else has this, please let me know. In the meantime, have you tried clearing browser cache and restarting your browser?

Marty, I’m having the same issues, seems like if I get out of the lesson and then get back into it that remedies it for me. Thanks for bringing it up, as I always think it’s my computer or service provider. Always helpful to know when someone else is having similar problems.

No problems here. Using a PC with Firefox.

My wifi is coming through a 4G connection, which isn’t always that stable. So it’s possible it’s just that.
Like I said, this only started happening in the last few days, so hopefully it’ll clear itself up.

yes sometimes but it isn’t major issue,, if and when it does what I think you too are experiencing, i shut it down and restart,,usually works,,but i read you too,,it is like an intermittent glitch issue as you asked.

I don’t often restart my computer, we’ll see if doing that helps. It could be a memory issue.
It’s not a huge deal for me, since I only use Soundslice when first learning a lesson. I prefer to memorize the tab as quickly as possible and practice away from the computer.
