Pete’s post for Active Melody members to post pictures of their capos got me thinking it might be interesting for members to post pictures of their other gear.

Attached should be pictures of my guitar tuners. I use each for different purposes.

My favorite is the Boss tuner. I’ve had it a long time but it is spot on accurate, so despite it’s big footprint it’s my go to tuner at home.

The Snark is great to use when you are playing and eliminates the need for messing with a cable. Very portable due to it’s small size. I see these becoming a lot more common. It also has a metronome feature.

The Korg is also portable and has a lot of applications.

I’m interested in others equipment. Either video or still photos are welcome for submission. Everytime I try to shoot video either one or our dogs or cats gets involved, so I went with still photos for this submission.

        Everyone is welcome to post.

Hey Gene, you beat me to it, thanks.

            Here’s mine.

            The BOSS TU-80

            http://www.bossus.com/products/tu-80/

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Pete, man how many models has Boss put out between the TU-12 and the TU-80?

I see yours has the metronome. Is the metronome audio or just a video metronome?

One of the drawbacks of this model is that the metronome’s volume is too low. All the write ups on this model tell us that also, but people like me still buy it. It is a very good tuner, just wish it had a few more whistles on it. If I really had to use the metronome on it, I’d be a little pi…. Really just can’t hear it.

Here are my 4. I also have a Snark Chromatic Tuner (not pictured).

The Korg electric tuner is from the 90s.

I find that the white Intellitouch PT-2 tuner is the most accurate and I like it the best out of al of these.

                    I use:

                    Crafter TG 200 H (A-guitar)
                    and
                    Boss Chromatic TU-3 (E-guitar)

Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.
