            Seasick Steve is very popular in the UK and always worth a watch, he makes regular appearances on our TV Music and chat-show Channels.

              Yeah, as Richard says. He is very popular here in the U.K., in fact there was a point a year or so back when he was never off our tv screens or radio chat shows, his music is nothing short of spellbinding.

                By now you know that Seasick Steve is kind of a fraud. He told the people in UK that he was a poor uneducated hillbilly living in Mississippi or somewhere in the deep south, but in fact he was a relatively famous session musician from California. He decided to re-invent his history and his image, and it worked….thanks to Jools Holland.

                But this doesn’t detract from his musical ability. He’s got some good creative stuff, or people wouldn’t listen to him.
