Please Stay, is a song written by Burt Bacharach and Bob Hilliard, released by The Drifters in 1961.
Dedicated to all the lonely peoples of our world, especially during this most revered season of Christmas.
May we, all, be blessed with His grace, and be filled with peace, love and hope.
Feedback is much appreciated. Thank you.

Didn’t know this song, very nice and melancholic! Gave a quick listen to the original, and I have to say that I like very much your arrangement for standalone guitar, very original and enjoyable to listen to! Very well picked with your effective thumb-index technique. And then, really brilliant, poignant and moving vocals. Loved to watch and listen to!

Hi Guido,
Your wonderful comments are so loved and much appreciated.
Thank you for the listen and the beautiful commentary!!!
A friend from Spain requested this song to be covered, and I did not know the song at the time.
When I hear the song, I almost did not want to do it, because of the emotions of the song.
You really have to dive in and be in the moment with this kind of song.
Thank you, again for the beautiful words.
Respectfully,
Rene

Beautiful Rene… you could lullaby a baby to sleep. I love your interpretation of this song. And, your fingerpicking accompanies your golden voice as well. Great stuff man.

Damn good, Rene. You fully conveyed the feeling that this track is supposed to convey. Your singing is impressive. Again, you conveyed the text “credibly”. I liked it. You are a musician!
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.
