Awesome song and with just a few magic musical tweaks that could really be ramped up to copyright status. I like the lyrics with the positive message most of all.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Thanks Michael! So what would you change on this to make it that worthy? Just curious!!! Thanks for the feedback!

I was thinking more along the lines of a professional mix and more work on the vocals. It’s good, but vocals are everything in a song that has them.

Ahh I gotcha! That would be problematic as we probably wont re-record it. Idk even know if she has the stems or not.
Thanks for the feedback!

Very cool, Byron. Personally, I wouldn’t do anything to it, just leave it as is. But since we are on the subject of tweaks, here’s what came into my mind:
You might laugh, but if I were going to tweak it, I would try to play it bluegrass style. Why? For some reason, the vocals seem really appropriate for bluegrass style.

Byron, What a great song, it does have a lot of appeal to take it on the road. Just a thought, are you able to edit the vocals by enhancing them more to distinguish it from the instrument track. Agree that a mix edit with the vocals is all it needs. Even a bit more volume on the vocals would help. Good job, both of you.

I thought that was absolutely beautiful, Byron – loved the positivity of the lyrics and I would be reluctant to pass any judgement on your mix; I could hear the vocals quite clearly and your solo playing and composition didn’t ever overwhelm them! So many songs these days are, in my opinion, far too over-produced! A lovely original song – Mark 👍🎶😎
