Hello All.
I am a new student here and this is my first post.
This is one of my old YouTubes from maybe 10 years ago which I thought worthy of viewing and comment.I use this Boogie as a Warm Up exercise.
The Video is out of Synch due to my overdubbing the Video Track to my Audio Track.
The Audio is actually One Track but may sound like two tracks.
I fattened it up with some slap back echo and some slightly Detuned Octave Effect. Thanks for listening

Thank you for the nice Comments .
I have played stage and cover guitar for many years.
Never have learned a full composition
So happy to find Brian.
Brian’s teachings sure fill the Gsp in my playing.
Hope to keep in touch with you as I learn more about the Forum.

Nice boogie! Really liked it with those jazzy chords. I have a couple of favorites you might want to check out. Bayou Boogie by Jimmie Thackery and Tab Benoit. Boogie Funk by Collin James. Thanks for sharing Bob O!

Good one, Bob. That’s really fun to listen to. But the question is, since you are so proficient already, why do you need to do lessons? Is there some specific style or something you want to get into?

Steve. Well, thanks for the nice comments.
I have so many reasons for subscribing to AD
I have always been able to play short bursts of stage music, but never complete songs! I played in middle school and high school bands at the time the Beatles landed here. After that in venues and night clubs for 10 years. Since that time I have always been with Guitar. I also play pedal steel and Hammond B3.
I followed Brian’s Part A lessons for about 3 months and noticed that he actually explain what is happening. Hope that makes sense. So many of Brian’s lessons fill the Gap and the Light Bulb is shining bright again.
I enjoy playing in and around the Blues! Some jazz, some rock & roll, country ‘old & new’ and maybe some R&B and a dash of Motown.
I live in an area where Bluegrass is popular – that’s way over my head. I have tons of respect for that community.
Another reason for enrolling with AD is the Forum. Where nice Folks prevail and I can converse with Players just like you.
I will aleays Share and always consider myself as intermediate.
AD is just a nice fit for me.
Thanks Bob -

BTW Steve (sunjamr) you play extremely well; as do many many others here on the Forum!
Why are you here on Active Melody?
