Here’s one I’ve been trying to learn forever – the Hesitation Blues. Inspired by Jorma Kaukonen, one of the best.

Thanks to Brian for having us get out the acoustic!

Just focus on the notes you DID get right . . . Frank Vignola

          Hi Bruce!
You tackled a tough acoustic song and did a great job to my 👂 ear! Lot of lead lines carrying the Melody throughout the arrangement …kudos for taking on a difficult tune and playing so well 👏🎄⛄🎶

That is some mighty fine finger-picking Bruce. Would love to hear more from you using the acoustic. So raw, earthy and melodic. Thanks for sharing.

Your submissions never disappoint, Bruce. Great rendition with neat picking and a difficult tune that I don’t expect I shall ever try. Thanks for sharing.

My high recognition, Bruce, for tackling this one, especially, when you are not so used to play on your acoustic. But you did a great job, I loved to listen to you playing this great, but tricky song. Such a fine submission.

Always enjoy your commentary Bruce. I’m with you on not playing my acoustic very much…but you played this with spirit and did some nice fingerpicking. Sounds good!

Very nice, Bruce. Loved all the different variations you gave the verses. I’ve heard several versions from Jorma and they’re all fabulous.

You have incredible knowledge of blues music and musicians Bruce. Always fun to hear the background you provide, as well as hear you play. You could have been a professional educator! And you certainly nailed that song by Jorma. I know Jorma’s music and he’s great. You captured that in your rendition.

                              Cheers, Tom

Between you and Jorma I think you made a cracking job of that Bruce. Your acoustic recording came over very well despite your misgivings. I was impressed with your fingerstyle technique especially when I see you playing electric most of the time. Bravo Bruce ……

That looked like one tough song to play and you really delivered. Great thumb and finger-picking coordination on complex runs and cord changes, etc. This was very entertaining and sounded SWEET!! Fantastic acoustic guitar playing, Mr. Bluesman! Wow.
