Can you transfer jam tracks to GarageBand?
Jim
Yes. Look under forum help/tutorials and watch Bryce’s video. What device is your GB on?
Mike
It’s on my desktop. I watched the video on how to record yourself better from Bryce. Not sure if I missed something he showed the jam track already uploaded but didn’t show how.
Hi Jim
What I do is download the jam track from the lesson page, open a new file in Garage band, set the parameters like tempo and key etc, then just drag and drop the downloaded .mp3 into a new track. This is on a Mac, but a PC should be similar I guess. You can then slow it down, loop it etc.
Good luck
Chris
Thank Chris,
I’ll try that. I’m new to all this. I would like to at some point try the member challenge. My Mac has a older operating system. My challenge is when I search for help I don’t see some of the windows that are shown. I think my GarageBand is an older one to.
