hey thanks man
I did figure out that recording thing, I down loaded the audacity, then i had to figure out how to get the sound from my amp to the computer, and once i got it to the computer how to get it to audacity
well I have a fender super champ x2 amp which has a USB out cord on the back for the Fender fuse thing but you can also use it to record. I played with for a while, now I have to figure out a song or tune that I can play a rhythm to and record it, then try to record a lead or something over it. this is going to take some time, but having fun trying -

I have had a really hard time with Audacity, to the point of giving up on it for awhile. But, keep at it and you will eventually figure some things out enough to be able to stumble through some recordings. A major problem I had was when I wanted to cut the second track, sometimes I cut the entire recording. The help tab is very useful. Be sure to save the file (export) in mp3, or it will be such a large file you won’t be able to send it to anyone if you wanted to. I had to download something else to be able to save as mp3. But, you should have the updated version. If you want to upload to YouTube your going to want to download windows movie maker if you don’t already have that. I put up a link in the gear threads to a demo of the effect pedal I have. I think it will make you want to have one, not necessarily that pedal but an effect pedal. If you have any questions about Audacity, shoot me a PM and if I can help out I will.
