Thought I’d try and get back into the monthly challenges to push my efforts and to try to utilize the things I’m learning.
Some classic 12bar blues with a few recognizable licks in there…

Excellent submission. Perfect timing and I really liked the final walkdown and jump back to the middle of the fret board for the final chords. That was the harder way to do it, but it works.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

The Blues Brothers’ style “Sweet home Chicago” intro hooked me, WPB! But I can say the same thing about your whole piece of classic blues: really loved to listen to it from start to finish, and for sure I want to re-watch and learn the licks you played and especially the closing phrase, so cool!

A classic electric blues track. And your guitar sounds absolutely fantastic for this kind of music. No doubt about it—you played it excellently, too. Thanks

I like a good 12 bar blues.
Yes that sounded very good. Some real nice licks and riffs. I recognize some from Brian’s lessons.
Great tone.

Classic licks, WPB. I want to “borrow” a couple of them, hard to see the fret markers on the single coil tele, though. I’ll have to go back and study this.

Pow, that woke up the senses. Slick and classic blues playing. I am going to revisit this one later as it has the fundamentals to inspire to. What a knockout sub, Wpb!

Daaang, that was awesome, wpb! Perfection to a T, the attack, the timing, the tone (!!!), the grit, and the two teles, wow!
I would not mind if you gave us a walk-through lesson on that in Members Teaching Members forum section, everything sounded truly outstanding, you nailed the gist of an electric 12 bar blues!🎸JoLa

Nice to see you back in the challenges WPB , I don’t think you can beat a classic 12 bar blues it’s a great platform to play over , lots of great licks and phrasing in this one and a cool brace of teles to perform with , love the tone you’ve dialled in .

This was fire!
The opening, in particular, reminded me of a Blues Brothers piece from long ago. Everything was tight, clean, powerful and rockin”. The tone had just the right amount of grit, too. Great work. -
