This is my first video post.
I’ve never recorded myself playing before.
It was eye opening in many ways.
I’m hooked. Looking forward to posting each month.
What a great community you folks have created here! -

Clay,
Welcome! That was a great first post. Love the white Fender Tele. Looks like you may have been playing awhile as you have a nice collection of guitars there. I’m a Stones fan so appreciate the tee shirt.
Look forward to your next post.

Nicely done Clay! Great submission! Thanks for accepting the challenge! Cool tele. I would own a white one but that would make 3 white guitars for me. That is why mine is a different finish than white. 😂

Welcome Clay, and what a way to introduce yourself! Very fine first post, and you found the perfect sound for the EP069 with your Tele and the set up of your amp. Great!

Patrick

Welcome Clay! What a drumbeat, as first post. Very, very impressive.
Great played and a super sound.Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

That was a great first post, Clay. I can tell you’ve played for a while, and will only get even better if you stick with these AM lessons.

Thanks for the comments everyone!
I’ve never experienced an internet message board that was not full of negative comments, teasing, or downright rudeness. I have seen nothing but encouragement and constructive comments.
What a great community, so happy to be a part.*Now that I’ve watched the other submissions, I see that it is encouraged to play for an extra minute or two to explore, create, and extend the lesson. My assumption was to repeat the lesson as is. The extra improvisations have been really fun to watch and give the lesson so many different personal touches. I’ll be doing this on future videos.
Thanks again everyone, already started on learning the April challenge Ep 177.

Did you record this via amp into sound interface? May be you can share some info on the recording.
Yes, my amp is a Fender Mustang and it has a usb plugged directly into the computer. I watched the video by Bryce on how to use the webcam for video, but replace that audio with the usb recording.
My webcam isn’t the greatest, I’m going to try to use a better camera next time.
