Can anyone suggest a software app for looping mp3 jam tracks. I don’t trust the free ones. Too much potential for corruption and no way to uninstall. And I would rather not pay hundreds. So those are your parameters. Thanks everyone!

I’ve used Trankriber by Reed Kottler for a number of years. The interface allows you to really fine tune the area of the song that you are trying to learn or transcribe. A big plus is that the song stays in key regardless how much you slow it down and the sound quality is good

I’ve also had really good luck using the VLC & KMP players for video looping. I just takes a little time to learn how their controls work and those controls doesn’t allow for the fine tuning that Transkriber does.

Thanks Keith, you’re always putting up great info. I’m using a Mac, which I’m guessing many of us are so I’m hoping there are versions of this software for Mac 0SX. Thanks again, brother Stone.
