So this Yamaha THR10C purchase kind of turned into a fully fledged shopping spree..
I’m got one of these as well for practice purposes.
It’s wireless systems for one guitar. No more cables in the couch or having to untangle myself from an effect setup with me in the middle of the madness. Now I can put the amp, effects and my iPad in one place and then slowly back away without getting snared back in.
I’ll tell you more about this when all the stuff arrives!

Hello Johan,
I think you will like the new wireless system. Although I have not used the new G10, I have used the older G30 for over a year and love it. No problems with it at all. Last week, another Active Melody player and I played together and we both were “wireless!” No dang cables to trip over or smash.
Can you imagine using a telephone that is attached to the wall, and a handset that has only a 4 foot cord? Man, how old fashioned! Yet we plug a cord into our amps and are tethered to it. Strange indeed! Anyway, I have found that when practicing backflips off a Marshall stack, it’s nice to not have to worry about getting tangled up in a guitar cable.
Hope it works well for you.

It arrived today together with my Yamaha THR10C!
Basically my first impression can be explained by watching this video made by line6
It just works.
One thing though! When I switched guitar from my LP to my acoustic there was a glitch! You see on the sender there’s a very small pin that needs to be pushed in for the receiver to start sending. In my acoustic it turned out that the curvature of the body in conjunction with the actual input jack didn’t make that pin lock into place. However by using a simple 90degree angle 1/4 male connector before plugging in the sender everything worked again. The 1/4 piece of kit was even included in the box!
Man I felt free like William Walice at once when the cable was gone and started playing with my whole body almost dancing and tiptoeing at every bend..
I must have looked funny because I found my wife laughing her ass off behind me, and my daughter was looking up at me with huge eyes of bewilderment. So yeah I’m happy with this kit for sure! Only thing I realized is that if I ever want to go “full retard” with headphones on, I’ll have to get a pair of wireless ones. But that’s not gonna happen this month! 🙂
