            Hi Barry,
            Welcome to Active Melody. You look like an accomplished player. I’ve been dabbling with DADGAD tuning. I’ll probably have to have a look at open G as well. I think these open tunings are ideal for acoustic guitar to bring out such rich, ringing chords and, often, they are relatively simple to play. What model Taylor are you playing?
