It’s just a simple exercise. I recorded the sound directly from my amp into the DAW.
For the lead part I used reverb and delay. The effects are from Vahlbruch (Pipeline and Space Time).
Maybe you like it.Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Beautifully played Wilfried. Did you use a looper to put down your bass and rhythm backing?
Nicely done and Duesenberg sounds great.

Dreamy. Like wafting clouds. Very cool how you set up the two backing tracks then developed the lead over this.
Loved it.

Really excellent Wilfried. Now maybe you could take a lesson from Jeff Yielding and include some lovely video from your local village interspersed with the video of your guitar.

Rick,
I do not currently own a looper. I took the individual parts and put them together in the DAW. I have not really done that yet. I try it. I had a looper (Ditto); he was fine. Only I did not manage to work with it. I always had a little break; it did not run smoothly. Do you know what i mean? If I do not like this approach, I’ll try again.John(sunburst),
I’ll look for Patrick O hearn. I know nothing about him. Maybe I heard something and do not know that it is him.John(Strat),
I look for ideas everywhere. Then I try to combine it with what we can learn here; maybe to compose. It may be a mix of what I’m learning here, how I use it, how I implement it, my own mood and suggestions. Mark Knopfler is already a cake in the music world.Steve,
nice tip! I’ve been thinking about recording videos differently, maybe like Jeff or you. I would need a lot of time for that. This video was also created from a mood. Yesterday I had something to do with the light. It was cloudy, then the sun came out briefly and then it disappeared again and it was getting dark in the evening; you can see it by the light in the video. The jalousie down and up. Maybe I have to take more time for that, which I do not really find right now.Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Another great submission, Wilfried. Did you already made that career move? This is more than professional playing and recording.
By the way, I did not see you playing that white Duesenberg before. Very nice guitar which suits your style perfectly.
Regards,
Patrick
