I’m probably a decade late on this but just now reading his autobiography. He’s got some great insight into the history and roots of blues and how it ultimately influenced the Stones and in short all of modern rock.
I also recently watched the documentary on KR that is on Netflix where he visited some of hits blues roots around the US and recorded his latest album. Great!
Yeh Bill, the KR rockumentary on Netflix is really choice. There are several AM members from central FL, so if you get no response, just try posting again every so often and you may be able to connect with them.

I was going through a rough time years back. I went to the Pasadena Library and borrowed the 20 CD unabridged Audio package of Life, read by Johnny Depp (sounding like Keith) and also Keith reading in some sections. Yes 20+ hours of Keith in my head via Compact Disc. It helped me through my dilemma. Glad to see you highlight the book here. Which I also have.
Hi Bill was looking at a YouTube video on Ry Cooder link below and Cooder played with the Stones on some occasions in the past and it says Cooder showed Keith open G tuning, looks like Cooder was a big influence on Keith does Keith mention this.
