Great topic Vorocnan, the list of musicians who changed the face of music must be as vast as it is diverse.

I’m a Jeff Beck fan, so I’ve watched many many videos and YouTube about him and his playing. His albums also live in my cd collection.

Charlie Patton. Without him there is probably no Robert Johnson.

Hi Jim from what I have read and listening to Charlie Paton he was mentor to Johnson and others and one of the first to record Delta blues.
However from what I have heard Johnson’s playing and compositions sound better and no doubt were listened to by more people than Paton had. Sometimes people come along and steal the show 😃

Apparently Ry Cooder showed Keith Richard open g tuning.
                    Cooder’s amazing life.

                    .
