June 2023 Challenge response Marc Venet

This turned into a challenging but fun project that involved some sound mixing and multi track recording as well as playing.
Admittedly I was initially totally stumped on what to do after listening to Brian’s prompt and then listening to actual EP501 lesson.
Did not feel confident in learning what he did in the allotted time.
After thinking about it for a while came up with the following approach:

Created backing track using chords from tab with programmed bass and drums plus me playing rhythm guitar.
Backing track goes through form 3 times:
1st time: Brian playing EP501 against backing track
2nd time: Me improvising lead against backing track
3rd time: Me improvising 2nd lead in attempt to play along with Brian and backing track.
Look forward to seeing and listening to what others have done with this one.

You played some interesting lines. Unfortunately, I couldn’t follow everything well because there was a lot of recording interference that was superimposed.

Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.
