Back in January I already knew that this will be my 12th submission in a row.
Now I’m excited and can’t sleep at night thinking about that special T-shirt.According to the occasion I challenged myself with a special treatment: not only to improve my fingerstyle technique (what I wish I had managed better), but to do so with EP 202 – a very tough cookie for me.
EP 202 has two parts – rhythm and lead – I hope you like it.Werner.

I really like this Werner, the second version is much cleaner and you play with obvious confidence. Job well done. I love the steady bass groove. You are right, very challenging. Something I need to focus on. Also, your pup is both loyal and really cool. Thanks for sharing.

Bravo Werner you did a good job and you chose a great piece.
Congratulations for the t-shirt that in my opinion the dog should also deserve it for his punctual presences.Livio

Nice picking, Werner. That’s a cool lesson playing both parts. Chet Atkins style.

Superb, Werner! The July version was waaaaay better than the January version. If you ever plan on playing on stage somewhere, you should definitely take your dog up on stage with you.

The improvement is definitely noticeable. Confident playing and fluent. Great job, it is exciting to earn that one off t-shirt, wear it as a badge of honour.

Clear improvement, Werner. You are much more familiar with fingerstyle playing then in January. And to mix the rhythm and solopart went really successful. Fine achievement!

Your diligence has paid off Werner. I see a marked improvement since January. Much smoother and you seem more confident. I can see by the look in your dog’s face that she or he also agrees.

Well done Werner! Nice improved performance, and congrats on your 12th submission too!
If I wasn't making mistakes I wouldn't be the kind of player I want to be. Perfection is dangerous.

Congratulations Werner! You successfully met the challenge in playing rhythm and lead on your song, and sounded great (love your D35; I have one too:-)! Your Travis style picking is very solid, and your lead work was a very enjoyable fit. Thanks for all you and your faithful friend have brought to AM in the past year.
Prost, Tom
