I’ve never heard of these guys, but their arrangement of “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room” is as good as it gets. I can’t tell how much is composed and how much is improvised, but I’m guessing most of it is not true improv. I have seen several Youtube tutorials on how to play the licks and solo parts of the song, but I never bothered to learn it, since I’m not a singer. But these guys have shown how it’s possible to play the song as an instrumental and not be boring.

That is excellent playing! Yes, indeed… no singing needed.
Alan
Yes, they really did a great job with that song.

The sight of a touch, or the scent of a sound,
Or the strength of an Oak with roots deep in the ground.
--Graeme Edge
I thought the whole thing was good but the first part, with the guy on the right playing fingerstyle rhythm was right in the pocket!
