Hi Active Melody members. Here are my comments for those that did the January 2019 challenge. I really enjoyed listening to each of your playing.
Richie B: simply played with a high skill of timing
sunburst (John) 2nd attempt: very creative, like the flow of such easiness in your playing
Cezary B: expression on the notes were tops

WBlues (Wilfried): drawing musical notes without a canvas, just letting them fly gently in the air, I also had the Akai reel to reel back in 74. Wish I still had it

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

” wondering what model Gibson that is… ”
2003 Les Paul Melody Maker. Single P-90 bridge pickup. Tone with more than usual treble trying to match the brightness of Brian’s B&G.
Had a big bow in the neck that I adjusted out with a truss rod tweak. After set up it is a fun, easy to play guitar, with that unique P-90 tone. -

That’s an epic response there, Pete. Maybe you should just make a video of yourself making comments on the various submittals.

The old ones go for a premium these days. I think Fender’s model is the Music Master. Funny how back in the early 60’s they only cost 100 bucks.

Steve, that would be a good idea. But I’ve never done a video before. Wouldn’t know where to start. Maybe you can help out and do the first one. That would be cool.
Thanks for your suggestion. The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
