How Do I Send A Private Message on ActiveMelody?

Hi,
I was trying to send a private message to Bryce, and could not work out how to do it – clicked on Bryce’s name, got to his profile, but could not work it out.

I am probably missing something very simple, so apologies if that is the case, but it would be good to know how I could do this for potential future reference.

When you click on someone’s profile there is a Private Message button next to their Profile Picture.

Many thanks.

That is strange, because the button was not there, or did not display previously for me.

This has happened several times on the site for me over the last few days with a couple of other functions – I had to search, then come back to those functions a while later. Will try to remember what those were.

Hi Bryce,
Just curious about the function of the “friend” option beside our profile picture. Is it just to reach out to other members or is there some other funtionality on the website.

This is what I know right now. You can control who views your profile. Click on your profile picture in the upper right hand of your screen. Then Settings > Profile. The profile settings here allow you to adjust your privacy setting. One level is Friends Only. You can also look at your friends list and see a quick snap shot of when your friends were last online.

I will be doing a video broad video walk through of the new forum system this weekend. So stay tuned.
