Hey Hey by Clapton [general repetition]

So this is 4 days of practice and also the general repetition before I make a performance video of this song. If I grind this for a week or two the groove will get even better and the small quirks will disappear!

So Billy get practicing and let’s make another JB Blues Band cover in a week or two! 👍🏻

The 1956 studio recording (third one down) has lyrics and a better sound but I had to share these other two instrumental versions for their heart (also around 1956).

There were a few other songs filmed at the time the first “Hey Hey” above was filmed. “When Did You Leave Heaven” goes straight to my heart.

Thanks to both of you! Billy, your bravery posting your voice is really commendable and bearing fruit. After the fact, maybe it doesn’t seem like it took much courage because the result and the reaction were both so good, but being aware of the feelings you expressed, your doubts about your voice, it took some guts. Bravo!

Thank you very much Don, I am just surprised that my vocals got such a good reception on forum, I enjoyed singing and recording the vocals to Johan’s fantastic guitar playing, I am sure you will all agree it was difficult not to sing along to Johan’s playing, Something I bet we all did.
I will give “Hey hey” my best shot and hopefully I wont spoil Johan’s playing…
