Youtube’s algorithm also said I should watch it. Paul is trying some really interesting stuff lately, and there is much to learn from observing how different people approach improv.

Thanks for posting this, Billy. Really amazing playing and originality and creativity; shows how much texture and interest you can create with a looper, rather that just playing lead lines. Very enjoyable and instructive. Wow.

What a great eye-opener that was. I just wish my creative imagination stretched far enough to get anywhere near those beautiful examples.

A nice refreshing change to whats usually on offer to whats on Youtube, Only so many times you can watch countless renditions of ” Need your love so bad” before you start to flick to the next page of the videos, Brian did something simillar in one of the challenges a few months back, look at the variations it threw up Steve.

I think you have a very valid point here Roger, Lead lines are fun to listen to and play but imho can become something of a rambling mess if over done.
Garry Moore was famous for going off in a tangent during a solo. 5, 10 mins into it and you could feel your ears start to close upWhat a great eye-opener that was. I just wish my creative imagination stretched far enough to get anywhere near those beautiful examples.
