If anyone is contemplating fitting a pick-up to an acoustic guitar, if you’ve not already seen this video, it might be of interest.
Anderton’s Ben and Pete are fitting an LR Baggs Anthem to a Martin D18, it does show you what’s involved, including the possible pitfalls.

I fitted exactly the same pick-up to my Martin D35 but played safe and left the work to a trusted Luthier.

            Hi Richard,
I had just upgraded my OMJM to the L.R.Baggs Anthem. For me, that meant I didn’t have to drill; so it was very simple. It’s all very subjective, but at least I don’t know of a better system. The sound is wonderful to adjust and the battery lasts forever.

Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Thanks for that, I’m just getting ready to install one in my Taylor Baby.
