I was getting overwhelmed in my small music room…I mean home office with random guitar stands on the floor. Found this plan for a six guitar holder made out of about $30 in lumber. My daughter even got in on the action helping to sand it. Going to add some felt around the neck pockets and base.
        The collection today:
        Taylor GS Mini
        Fender Player Telecaster
        Gretsch 5622
        Fender MIM Strat
        Ibanez Artcore 55

Very nice, Bill. Mine hang on the wall, but I kept one floor guitar stand which I keep near my chair, so I don’t have to get up and hang it on the wall whenever I want to put down my guitar briefly to adjust my amp, pedals or whatever.

Great job Bill. I like your idea and guitar collection. Looks like you have some excellent help.

              Nice collection.

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Great job on that Bill. I’ve been looking around the web for the exact same thing. I like the aesthetics very much, some of them look a bit ‘fussy’ or ever so slightly weird.

Thanks Mark! Here are the plans I used:

Thanks very much for sharing that Bill, it’s a great design. It will be my spring of ’22 guitar shop project, I need two of them. My wife will be delighted. I think I’ll put Harbor Freight casters on them so we can sweep our rustic farmhouse wood floors more easily.

Thinks… I knew I bought that pocket hole jig system for something…

Great holder, and a nice little family 🙂
