Triads are the way to go, at least thats what I’m working towards too.Not exactly lighting up for me yet either but starting to get a dim glow! Keep at it!-

Been playing the guitar most of my life and it takes a very long time for the fretboarc to “light up” as you put it. Fortunately for us, Brian’s theory lessons do a lot to help with that. That said, I really liked the way you played this and the way you play in general.
