Hi,
I’ve had problems getting the link when uploading these (one electric and one acoustic). Because I recorded them earlier in week, hey went to YouTube video editor before I copied the normal link. I hope this works?!Bryce if this doesn’t work can I email copy of video to you?

Yup, very nice man! It is so rewarding to know you making head way in guitar, isn’t it? good job..
Don't practice till you get it right, practice till you can't get it wrong.

Hi Brian, what a great idea on the acoustic guitar to play. Ingenious idea and played great!!!
Thank you for your idea.
WilfriedPlay guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Yo Bri,great job with that challenge. It was a tough one,and you came through with flying colors!!Loved the guitars too! I’m a lefty also, but play right handed.I tried to join a bluegrass band once, but they wouldn’t let me because I didn’t own a Martin lol. Again, great job…………Sal

Thanks for your comments and the feedback is greatly appreciated; I’m so pleased to have got involved with AM and sharing posts as I can feel progress in my playing thanks to Brian and members.
The Martin was my retirement treat last year. The family suggested a new car but I have a perfectly fine 3 year old car, so didn’t feel as guilty indulging in the martin ooo.28 small body Martin. I always now play lessons on both Telecaster and Martin as enjoy them both equally.
Sal I think the bluegrass band were the loosers with not accepting you with out a Martin. I play with two friends (1 banjo and 1 guitar) each week in Ted’s Kitchen (it is his kitchen). So we play bluegrass and because of the banjo anything else we play takes a country or folk feel, it’s great fun and we don’t worry about perfection, even monotone singing is appreciated. I think that’s were I did get the Martin feel and I simply liked the retro look, feel and sound of this one.

Very nice. I’d be interested in hearing whether you approach things differently between acoustic and electric.
Also, and this is an aside, why did you decide to learn the guitar lefty? (Left hand takes more coordination, so a lefty playing the standard way has a natural advantage)

Well done Brian, this was definitely a challenge and you did it both acoustic and electric. Great idea. Keep up the good work.

Thanks again for feedback and comments.
Duffy I my first guitar was a cheap standard acoustic, as it was such an issue trying to get a left handed guitar when I started; but I just couldn’t do it.
Really it just felt alien and I wished I perceivered considering your logic, but too late now LOL!

Awesome playing man! I listened through both of them and have to say that I like the acoustic version better. It just sounded right on that Martin. That looks like a Clapton model, am I right? Anyway, I love the fact that you took the time to do 2 versions of this.. your playing has come a long way as well! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Brian and the improvement is down to you, the great learning environment, lesson content, support from AM community.
Yeah the Martin is a special limited edition Eric Clapton Crossroad edition and this is the 000.28 Madagascan Rosewood, there were only 150 made of which 10 left-handed, so really lucky to grab one.

Hi Brian, those were excellent. I liked the way you played the acoustic version better. It sounded to me like of necessity you attacked it harder and got more out of the phrases that way.
I think your recording method cheated us of hearing you as you played, notes were clipped off by other notes, but that technical stuff is small potatoes (I rejected the videos made by my phone in favor of the sound files for that reason–funny thing, same mic but two very different sounds/results–I guess when some of the memory goes to the visual it compromises the sound).
I’m also a lefty but my first gittar was strung righty and I just started playing it that way.
