Bryce,
wonderfully lyrical! In some attacks, it reminds me of Keith RichardWilfried
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Hey great one Bryce,
The amp is sounding just fine and you plumped for a complimentary blues driver; you played it with a relaxed groove and gotta say the ending was really cool. You’re an entertainer and appear more comfortable in front of the camera and the performing is paying dividends!
Keep that inspiration going.
Cheers Bri

First, good job Bryce.. That Bigsby looks sexy on that guitar.. 😉 Sound is awesome.. loved it..
Now, Roberto, I had to re play the video, and, sir, you are correct.. He nailed the Brian head move perfectly. Bonus points for sure.. 😀
Don't practice till you get it right, practice till you can't get it wrong.

Hey Bryce,
Good job. I liked the assertive attack on the strings.I watched it a few times and you really did look relaxed. Breakthrough year!

Great job Bryce! You do indeed seem a lot more relaxed than many of us. I found it easier to play this lesson fingerstyle, so I was really interested to see and hear you play it with a pick. Nice attack, very crisp and clear. You exude confidence, so I can see how you’d have no problem jumping on stage with an open jam session. Thanks a lot for organizing this challenge!

Hi Bryce, great job! All the licks linked together really well with a consistent tempo. Loved the tone, sounds like that Classic 30 is starting to get broken in, they sound better with age. Just like all of us.

Hi Bryce,
That’s a cool little Reverend there. I’m guessing it’s several years old because I don’t recognize the model. They make some high quality guitars at reasonable prices. ( I’ve the Tricky Gomez model that they currently offer)Very well played. Nice tempo and note accuracy with a funky motif ….(I’m wondering how you record?) EP127 has been taken out and given a beating by the membership. What’s next? LOL
This challenge concept is absolutely one of the coolest things this solo act has encountered in quite some time. Fabulous idea! Thanks, Bryce, for making this work.

Bryce the bluesman! Nice job Bryce 🙂 That was pretty much flawless, I noticed the one little flub at the VERY end which you caught gracefully and recovered from. Very clever. Often times it’s knowing how to get out of situations in a clever way like that that can make the difference in a good player and a great one. You’ve come a long way, look forward to hearing where you go on the guitar. My only recommendation on tone (this is just my personal preference) would be to add a bit more reverb and wetten your tone up a tad. That said, the guys I play with always give me a hard time for using TOO much reverb. 🙂

As with everything I’ve heard you play, it’s high-quality. You have the skills and a distinctive, direct attack.
I think we should do some kind of blindfold challenge, have to figure out the mechanics of doing that, maybe MP3s?
One thing I would mention as a criticism; please feel fee to ignore me. I think you kind of “threw away” (played inexpressively) the sliding 6ths in the D chord in bars 17 and 18, but overall it was just a great take.
