Recorded with my daughter’s more than 10 years old Huawei. My I phone 14 sounds much worse.

PS: Better quality recordings are easy to achieve with pretty cheap gear. I bought a focusrite for about 100 bucks and I get everything I want out of it 😁

Very cool, that takes it to a whole new level! If you don’t think the sound quality is good enough on your iPhone, why not get one of the external plug-in mics for iPhones? iRig is maybe the most commonly used, not too expensive. Just plug it in, and it works. I used one for years.
