I’m still not as solid on my triad shapes as I would like to be, but I decided to move on to some embellishments anyway. It’s a little trickier to see them in context, but if I fret the basic triad and then add the 6th or 7th to it, the visualization begins to embed itself into my brain.
My guitar has a little more bite than I would like for this jump blues. I think it’s because I switched to a single pickup on the strat instead of playing with the selector switch in 2nd or 4th position. Once I rolled the volume down, it was okay.

Hey Barry, You played that really well! Nice and smooth throughout. The Strat sounded great to me and that’s what I used on this one also.

Wonderful Barry. You got this down. It’s amazing how 6ths, 7ths and diminished chords can ‘color’ a chord progression. Well done and tres enjoyable.

That’s some smooth right hand strumming on those triads, dyads, 6 chords, 7th chords and tri-tones, Barry. Sounds great.

To me it looks like all these triad chords just flow out of your fingers, Barry. But the most contagious is your joy of playing which, by the way, is already coming across, before your laughter at the end.
