Yes I snagged this used Martin 000-15 Mahogany is warm and subtle .. i like to step up to recommended 12s have 11s on it elixir bronze phosphorus nano web coated.. i am going to try 12s next restring.. it’s not as bright as the spruce tops and i like the warm tone..especially the blues fingerstyle stuff very much recommend this.. think Brian has one

Cool finger picking. Your Martin has a wonderful sound; actually there is no need to say that; it goes without saying.
Great melody you played.Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Thanks Roger, I like to showcase Angeline the baker is a really cool old country standard in Drop D I was just practicing from another site.. , i only spent an hour following the tab for this short but very good drop D lesson..and maybe another hour making up stuff with it.. I like different open turnings too.. it is fun to experiment as we learn new styles. this lesson reminded a bit of 70s fleetwood Mac Lindsey Buckingham .. be safe man!

I like that dropped D sound anyway, so I might have to take a peek at this lesson at some time. Very well done, the guitar sounded great.

Loved that. Had the feel of British folk pickers of the late 60’s early 70’s. Thanks John.

John, nice to see you already nailing that Drop D thing, and even playing it fingerstyle. That’s fantastic my friend!

Awesome… Is that the new drop D lesson? Is that a Martin d-15? I’m strongly considering one.

I am going to tackle that one asap myself, John. You already pretty much nailed it. You are going by a lesson per week – and then some. Great player!
