Learn to play blues guitar.

Hi all,
I’m interested in learning the “O Holy Night” version this year – pretty simple, but one thing I’ve always struggled with is the tone settings. Being primarily an acoustic player, I don’t easily recognize what kind of effects are being applied. I know Brian is playing a hollow body, but I should be able to get close with my Strat or Les Paul along with my ME-80 pedalboard.
Any hints on achieving that beautiful sound?
Thanks!
You could achieve a beautiful sound with your Strat and or Les Paul for sure. The pedal board would be gravy. Just experiment and find what suits you. You may dial in something better than what you previously heard. I would say this, whether it’s an acoustic that is plugged in, mic’d, or a clean Strat or Les Paul, it’s gonna sound really nice. It’s just a matter of personal taste I guess.
