hi folks,
I decided to play this one without accompaniment (for now); it was tough enough:) I fully agree with Brian that Mick Taylor is seriously underrated! Me for one, I think he’s a wonderful player (better than Keith Richards), and besides, he’s got a very nice voice also! I have one of his cd’s, and it’s still one of my favorites!
(Mick Taylor Band -Little red rooster, featuring John Cochlan & Noel redding Live 2001, 5 long awful classics: Catfish blues,Red house, Little red rooster, You shook me, I wonder why)
grtz,

Hi Michel,
Can you give me the secret code to opening these files? Sadly I’m unable to open and listen.

@konk
Hi Michel, I agree with you, it’s a tough one(good one to learn)….working on playing with the backing track….great try, nice tone, you are the brave first to try it! It’s also deceptively long, lots of notes and all over the fretboard…
I have been working the same way to get it smooth without the backing track and a metronome, so I dont feel rushed. With your permission, that would be my only suggestion, slow yourself down and dont feel rushed to play fast, it sounds as good slower.
Best regards,
Roberto

Hi Michel (@konk), the Chord sequence to master is sure of one thing. Then the mood with the change of speed to create a second very important thing. Then once more powerful and less powerful played. At the end comes to Dominate the speed. This will then at some point a copy of Mick. A very high goal! I think the piece is wonderful on its own development to track and document.
But regardless, Michel: very good Start!
I’ll be with you to continue to follow my friend.Wilfried
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Hey Konk, always great to hear your playing. It’s nice that you have your own feel with your emotions in this tune. A few here have said its a good start. With having a strong feel in your playing I think it balances out your emotional part of playing quite well.
The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Very nice again, Michel. I’m impressed how quick you learned to play this lesson so fluently.
