I find it quite good to combine two devices in one housing; so I tried the collider. The sound is not as digital as I thought it was. I like it and should stay now.
It has two inputs and two outputs. Routing works very well.
        Mono input / mono output
        Mono input / stereo output
        Stereo input / stereo output
        Stereo input / mono output
Reverb and delay can be connected in series or in parallel.
It is also possible to split reverb and delay; so output 1 delay and output 2 reverb. Or just use one of the two (Dealy / Reverb).

The manual can be downloaded from the manufacturer’s website.
        Everything is well described.

If necessary, the collider can also be set on the DAW; that’s pretty comfortable.

There is still a peculiarity. If you have a short transition time in a track in which you want to keep the sound, you can do this by holding the “Dual DSP” button for the time. When you release it, the sound fades away.

Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

I’ll check it out love pedal revues though in truth I’ve been downsizing over the last couple of years so it’s a curiosity thing.

There’s so much inventive stuff out there these days from small manufacturers

Did you use it on this month’s challenge?

Yes, I recorded the challenge with it. I used Reverb and Delay together.
I had a reverb and a delay before; whereby I now use one from two devices, I think that’s quite good.

In this context, I also no longer use my overdrive because my amp has a gain and master control and, if it is too loud, I also have a power reducer behind my amp. So with gain and master I can perfectly do that Control distortion.
So somehow it goes in the direction of reducing the total amount of devices.
The whole package must of course fit.

I had a good listen to Pete Thorn’s demo it was quite inspiring made me want to go mess with my Reverb & Delay and get some cool tones out of it.

Relativity speaking the price of the one unit is comparable to a couple of single units, mine are MXR reverb and TC Flashback 2, there in collider territory and they’ve both got similar features.

Its heavily discounted over here in the UK at the moment as is most stuff as businesses try and get going again and generate some cash-flow.

I’ve kind of gone through a slimming down process with O/D and amp sim stuff since I got a revival drive my amp doesn’t do O/D in any shape or form it does headroom and more headroom, aside from the revival drive I’ve only got a Tube screamer and a fuzz (big muff) on my board at the moment.
