I had a breakthrough watching EP 130 – mixing major and minor pentonics
A in E form of cage is perfect to get the mix using the g string 6th fret (c sharp) to switch between the two (did I explain it ok?)
You got it, M R. The 5th fret G string is the minor 3rd and the 6th fret is the major 3rd. Other intervals you can add to the minor pentatonic are the major 2nd and the major 6th to get more of the major sound. Remember, you can do the same in any of the minor pentatonic positions.
