John,
Great motifs, great phrasing, great following of the chord changes, great tone. I think it was terrific and the best thing I’ve seen you post. Take a bow. As Austin Powers would say, “Groovy, baby”. If it doesn’t get the attention it deserves here, seriously consider making it your Dec challenge submission.

Plenty of warmth and feeling in that groove John and very enjoyable watching you getting into it. Just one comment on production, I would have liked your guitar lead a ‘tad more’ above the backing track.

Excellent playing, like a pro! Very enjoyable to listen to your improvisation on this backtrack! I agree that your playing is so good that it was worth to increase your guitar volume a little bit.

Thank you everyone. I ran everything into Garage Band 1st through a Focusrite Starlight Solo and then used the Clean Echo’s guitar setting. I will increase the volume next time. My guitar is a Taylor T-5.
Thanks everyone

Definitely a step in the right direction John and worth the re-mix. This version features you and not the backing track.

Yes, definitely had a real groove happening there John. Loved the repeated staccato note effect, bends and licks, also the way you worked with the backing track not against it. Kudos for also putting everything on the line and posting a real impro! Very impressive and a very successful outcome. All the best!

Love it John! I really enjoy a great medium Blues in a minor key. The Thrill Is Gone is super. However, your more upbeat tempo is superb! Great job John! Bob
