Found this oldie but goodie, this lesson sounds simple but took me forever to even get close,its a great lesson for practicing bends and phrasing,love the blues stuff Brian puts together,hope yall enjoy friends!
That looks like some pretty masterful playing Wayne. Personally, I find that BB King stuff pretty hard to play well and, you are right, bends and phrasing are really the thing with his style. Good on you for tackling this one, I haven’t done a BB King lesson for a long time now.
Great rendition, Wayne! Your phrasing in this one is perfect and even the vibratos are close to the BB’s original, really very well executed!
