If so, you might get some inspiration from Gretchen Menn’s DADGAD demo:
I hadn’t heard Eric Johnson’s “Song For George” before, but it seems like a good one to learn.

Is it just me or did anyone else find that Brian sounds bluesy-ish and country-ish, even in DADGAD? I mean, isn’t DADGAD supposed to sound celtic? 😉

And one of the most amazing DADGAD songs I know of is “Black Queen” by Stephen Stills, a greatly underappreciated guitarist:

Thank you Steve… I had a listen and put it on my ‘must do ‘ list. I Always, loved Stills. I have seen CSN many times, CSNY once in my life, and Neil a handful of times. Neil always had a way of stealing the show with CSNY. They played Down by the River and Southern Man for what seemed to be half the show.

072: Stephen Stills, ‘Suite:Judy Blue Eyes’ (“Just Roll Tape”)
I’m not much on understanding the intricacies of copy right and such on the internet, linking this in no way an attempt to collide with things like that, but, with that said, this is a very interesting take on the song, and a very interesting website for those interested in the background of songs and musicians. -

Hi Sunjamr
Eric Johnson’s song for George is in double drop D not DADGAD I think, which is close. Going to California is also in bouble drop D Gretchen is a very good player she did some collaborations with Joe Gore and others
