Hi, does anyone know if Brian has put up any lessons on amps and guitars and how to get good sounds. I know a lot of it is trial and error, but my sounds never seem to sound as good as his!

          Hi David,

You may find this helpful – it’s one of the Youtube-only vlog lessons he put out recently. Often – but not always – Brian briefly goes through the guitar and amp settings at the beginning of a lesson.

The vlog lesson that that Jola recommended has some great info in it, proving that even a cheap amp can be useful

Scott Grove has a reputation on You Tube, many highly dislike him because of his brash attitude. He is very much a What You See Is What You Get And If You Don’t Like It, Oh Well type of guy
Having said that, he does know what he is talking about and can provide so really good advice.

He posted this video about 8 years ago and you may find it useful as a supplement to what Brian posted

Jeff McErlain is a well known instructor and over the years, he’s posted several helpful videos on tone, pedals & effects
