Brian, any thoughts of developing an Active Melody App for Smartphones?

It seems to be fairly difficult to develop a good and functional guitar lesson app. Marty Schwarz tried it and it ended up as an abysmal failure. Ultimately he just abandoned it and left all the app purchasers with a useless app. I know. I was one, which is why I searched out and joined AM.

Please, just optimize the existing web for mobile view. I’d rather see the resources && money to go into making a new course then to pour and continue to pour them into an app.

I don’t see any added value in an app.

I agree with this, a mobile version of the website would be much more use than another app.

It appears to already be formatted for my smartphone, what else am I missing?

Now that we have the Micro Lessons perhaps those could be what the App contains!

There are things that could be tweaked for smartphones, like making the “link button” just above usable in vertical/portrait mode (the “submit” button goes off-screen in vertical, just a little, little bit peeks out, then I realized “turn phone”). But things like that could be further optimized.

I don’t see an advantage to an app either, as my Samsung Galaxy Grand has memory problems. I have about 4 apps that I use and don’t add more because there isn’t room!
