            I went into my local guitar shop a couple of years ago specifically to buy an Alvarez Parlor guitar. It was OK, but after trying out a few, I ended up buying an Alvarez AF30CE small body. To me, it sounded better and was nicer to play. Roughly the same price also.

              They probably sold out of the Alvarez and the Mitchell was a sub..

                I posted that b/c I know many on the forum like parlor guitars and that may have been a deal for them

                I’m not fond of parlor guitars but if I were wanting to buy one, I’d wait until I could try a PRS. The acoustics made by/for PRS are always top quality and likely one of their parlor guitars would be worth the extra money
