          Thanks for the post.

          The ABB has been my fav since the early 70s when I first heard Duane’s stinging slide opening on Statesboro Blues and how he was ‘chasing’ Gregg’s voice on Trouble No More. Warren and Derek have stepped in on the slide guitar duties in recent years and the band recaptured their original vibe….. well, almost. How do you outdo Duane

          {I’ve often wondered if Duane, Jimi, SRV, etc hadn’t met an early demise, what would be their skill level now and what would they be composing. Duane was only 24 when he was killed.}

          For what that band has been through, they remain one of the greatest of all times. They don’t get any better – just more intense!!!

          Just a shame that Dickey Betts and the band can’t come to terms and reconcile. There is an interview on Youtube with Dickey and if he wasn’t sick that day, the drugs sure taken their toll.
