Does anybody have any idea what the lesson was where Brian thought about the sixth to the ninth chord like sliding two Frets up two frets down. Say like playing minor triad on the fifth fret and sliding it down to the third fret. I can play it, it’s an easy thing to play. I just wanted to check out the lesson about it
Hi Todd, I know Brian has covered these chords in many lessons. In fact, this weeks’ lesson, EP587, goes pretty deep into them as minor triads over a base note. Lot’s of 6 and 9 chord sounds in this one. Also, you might do a search for Western Swing on the lessons page. I know that sound is a signature of that style, and Brian has used it in some swing lessons. Also, EP362 goes over many triads, including the 6th and 9th chords. Happy practicing!
thanks much Mkhael
